Two mile walk habit in the Morning


I started my new habit of waking up early and going for a walk around the pond with my dogs. I felt great, and the I feel like I've accomplished so much already in the morning. I noticed that I lost 2 lbs so far...Yoohoo...

The real test will be when I visit my parents this weekend. I love my parents, but they are such a contradiction. They tell me that I need to lose weight but they love feeding me. I know they want the best for me and that's why they want me to lose weight, but I also know that one of the sign to express their love for me is to feed me.

I will be cheering my brother with his triatholon this weekend and hopefully that'll give me more motivation to keep up with my training for my 5K run. Last time I was cheering him during short tri, there were so many good looking buff men....Such a eye candy!

I really didn't feel like running this morning, so I just walked it with my dogs.

Hey, I'm on a quest to lose 50 pounds as well. I've been trying to run, but I keep getting horrible shin splints. Sigh...

Try using different sneakers.It helps!
I used to get shin splints when I first started jog/walk, but after about a month it went away~!
