Mile and Half Run

I did my first mile and half run without stopping yesterday, and than I walked back another mile and half. I ribs started to hurt, but I felt great after the run. My two dachshund joined me for the run, and they had no problems keeping up with me. I need to hit the gym to do some weights but I hating going to the gym when the weather is so nice and I could just go for long walk/run on the pond. It's harder to get back onto the routine after vacation.

My diet has been awful since back from vacation. I'm craving sorbets at night, and way too much carbs. I'm not cooking as much as I should.

I'm looking forward to my whitewater rafting trip this weekend. It should be lots of fun and of course my diet will totally be sabotaged by all the bbq and quick on the go foods.

That's awesome. I remember when I first started running and had these goals for myself. The first was to do half of my loop, 2.62 miles, without stopping. It felt so great to accomplish that! I'm up to about 4 miles without stopping now, and Im hoping that by the time I hit my goal weight I can be up around 7.5 or so. Just good enough to be able to run in a 10K race. Keep up the good work!
