Getting myself to the gym is 90% the hardest things to do. I think the more you think about it, the harder it becomes. Stop making excuseses for yourself and just do it. Once I get myself to the gym, I feel great but just getting there...
My diet has been pretty good and I am losing weight...

Hardest part of dieting...
I think the hardest part of dieting is the weekend. Weekend is usually a time for me to meet up with friends and catch up. Of course that always involves drinks and food. It's going to be the same during the holidays especially Thanksgiving. I'm trying to focus on my goal which is to fit into this skimpy black dress for new year's eve party I'm attending. Hitting the gym 3x a week and increasing my weight training to every other day should make the difference. I'm still keeping my intake of calories to 1200, which is not as hard as I thought. Of course I'm getting all the vitamins and fruits and vegatable as I can get.
Thanks everyone for your support.

It's been awhile
I've been back on my diet since Nov1st. It really hit me that I have two months left out of this year and I still have not completed my 2006 resolution of losing weight, instead I gained 15 lbs.
I've decided that there's no way that I'm going to start 2007 15lbs heavier than 2006, so I've totally cut the white carbs out of my diet.
First three days was torturous, and also not drinking alcohol. I miss it. I miss wine. I miss being little buzzed. But I miss being able to feel comfortable in my body more so...that's my motivating factor for the rest of this year!
I was in Miami last weekend and realize how fat I was compared to everyone around me...
I've already lost 5lbs, and my jeans feels little loser. Also my feet are not swollen in the morning when I wake up. My skin looks amazing and probably from all the water I'm drinking. I'm lot more conscious of everything I'm eating.
I'm taking HMR protein drinks and meal replacements when I am at work. It helps me alot bec. I get so busy w/ patients and never really have time to grab good food. I try to eat 5 fruits and vegetables everyday and healthy lunch/ or dinner. Total Calorie intake is about less than 1200. I know it's lot less than recommended, but I have two months to really get in shape.
I've also kept up with my workouts and burning about 400-500 calories.
So far...not bad. Anyone else interested joining me to lose the weight you gained this year? We have 6 weeks left before end of the year!
