New Year's Eve

Ok...maybe I didn't accomplished my goal for year 2006 to lose 50lbs...but I did lose 15 lbs....so I will continue to lose weight to 2007. I have a goal... I'm going away in March for a week on vacation and I want to look great!

Christmas is around the corner...

Christmas is just around the corner...
There will be food, more food, and than more food....Temptation, lack exercise, exhaustion, hanging out w/ nephews...

Priority..changing our mind!

OK.... remaining days of December has been difficult. I've been working out and doing my yoga, but can not keep on top of my eating/diet habits. I have such a difficult time preparing my food. I feel like there isn't enough time in my life to prepare, but than again, if I feel like it's important to me, I'll make the time, right?
I make time for things that are important, such as work... walking my dogs... my friends, why isn't preparing food myself as important as everything else. Why am I placing myself at last of my priority? I was thinking about models and I actually had a opportunity to talk to one. I'm a doctor, so my priority is in my patients and than my family and than me. Of Course first priority is in my patients because it's my job, well...it's the same for a model. Their priority is in their job, which is to look good and feel good for themselves, which in it for itself will get them their next paycheck.
What if we trick our mind into thinking our body is our first priority. Will it work?

Eating during and after the holidays.

My diet during the holidays and after holidays has been great. I have definitely steered from my diet and now I'm heading back on again. I have 30 days to count down to the end of the year. Here in Boston doesn't seem much like winter with weathers in the mid-60's. What's going on?

I have so far lost 10 lbs and I wish to lose another 15 lbs before the end of the year. More to the gym...and more of portion control...
I have been craving sweets so bad lately....WHAT TO DO? Actually I have been eating more fruits, such as apple , pears, and oranges when I get craving for sweets. That seems to satisfy my tastings. Hope everyone else is doing well.
