Wow...It's been awhile....
It's been awhile since I last updated. I've been busy with my life and just recently had a death in my family. Since my last update, I have lost 27 lbs, and now weight 171lb. I am closer to my goal weight.
Basically...CUT out the carbs, and eat more often!

Taking care of myself...
I have made a pledge couple past days ago and it's been helping me.
Maybe it'll help others...
I will give to myself as I give to others.
I will value my health as I value the health of my loved ones.
I won't ask, "Should I or shouldn't I?" about matters of self-care.
I will just do it.
I humbly accept that I must work to be the best me I can be.
I will choose to work for myself, rather than abandon myself.
I will embrace adversity as an opportunity to test my mental and physical strength.
Since I have made and determined to honor this pledge, my physical and emotional health has taken a dramatic turn for the better.
I encourage others do the same.

Taking it one day at a time....
I realize that all too often we think about the end result and don't really think about the journey.
For example, my goal to lose the 50lbs. I think about the 50 lbs and don't really comprehend how difficult it will be to get there. Instead I make these goals of going to the gym three times of week, eating healthy, etc and of course fail because I'm not thinking about day to day. I make excuses of ..." I'll make it up tomorrow." But Tomorrow becomes the next day and the next.
This year, I'm going to think only one day at a time and that's this moment.
It's one of the most difficult task to be present in the moment and enjoy and feel all emotions and be aware of your enviroment. That is my goal for this year. Taking it one day at a time...

It's the New Year
So...It's a new year and we have a clean slate to shape up our diet, exercise, personal life, career, and of course our play life.
My goal: To be back on phase 1 of South Beach Diet for the next 4 weeks.
Exercise: To run the 5K run in March, so start to train running 20 minutes a day and increase that to 3 miles by March.
Personal life: Need to date more people...To at least go on one date every two weeks. That's good...right?
Career: Work smarter, not harder.
Play Life: To go on 3 vacation this year. I have the skiing trip in March, spring fling trip w/ girlfriends in April and Family vacation trip in August.
Brain Goal: Read more books.
